Service purpose

To implement lifelong educational statistics to secure base data for rational and systematic lifelong educational policy making and implementation
To understand the actual condition of lifelong study participation for adults around the country and utilize the results in establishing the basic direction of lifelong educational policies
To provide statistical information services to online and offline users based on accurate and reliable statistical information
Service details
Lifelong educational statistical survey: Survey on overall institutions conditions, programs and learners, teachers and instructors, clerical staff, Gumbit lifelong education service group, lifelong education declining status, and additional university affiliation
Actual condition survey for personal lifelong study: actual condition of participating in formal education, informal education, and non-formal education, obstacle factors and accessibility, type of learning, attitude for leaning, and social performance
Promotion status
2000 : Brought up the necessity of lifelong educational statistical survey
2002 : Conducted base research for lifelong educational statistical survey
2004 : Developed lifelong educational statistical survey process
2006 : Implemented trial lifelong educational statistical survey, and conducted base research to establish lifelong educational statistical survey framework and personal lifelong study survey system
2007~2016 : Conducted the 1st~10th lifelong educational statistical survey and actual condition survey for personal lifelong study

Lifelong educational statistical survey: Lifelong education institutions under the jurisdiction of office of education, lifelong education centers designated by Si and Do superintendent of education, and university (graduate school) affiliated lifelong education centers
Actual condition survey for personal lifelong study: nationwide female and male adults aged between 25 and 79(2017~), nationwide female and male adults aged between 25 and 64(2007~2016)
